You can jump into the always-running Global Squarrel or create a private lobby for friends. Private lobbies support up to 42 players. Guests can join and play without registering, but hosting a lobby requires a verified Squarrel.io account. The global board may add automated players when activity is low, so there is usually something to challenge even outside a scheduled game night.

The game runs in desktop and mobile browsers without an app download. A private host shares the lobby link or code, players choose one of the two teams, and each person can attack available squares by playing their attached minigames.
