Brawlhalla
A free-to-play platform fighting game with crossover characters. Brawlhalla offers fast-paced combat with friends across all major platforms.

About This Game
Brawlhalla is a free-to-play platform fighting game in the style of Super Smash Bros., available on every major gaming platform with full cross-play support. Over 50 unique Legends (characters) with distinct weapon combinations and signature moves provide deep gameplay variety. The goal is simple: knock your opponents off the stage.
The game excels as a party game thanks to its chaotic free-for-all mode, where up to 8 players battle simultaneously on dynamic stages with items and hazards. For competitive players, ranked 1v1 and 2v2 modes offer skill-based matchmaking and seasonal rankings. The balance between casual fun and competitive depth is one of Brawlhalla's greatest strengths.
Brawlhalla's free-to-play model is remarkably fair. A rotating roster of free Legends is available each week, and all Legends can be unlocked through gameplay without spending money. Only cosmetic items require real purchases. With regular crossover events featuring characters from popular franchises and a thriving esports scene, Brawlhalla offers endless content for fighting game fans.
How to Play
Choose your Legend
Select from 50+ characters, each with unique signature attacks and two weapon types.
Fight on the platform
Attack opponents to increase their damage. Higher damage means they fly further when hit.
Knock opponents off stage
Send opponents flying beyond the stage boundaries to score a KO. Use light attacks, heavy attacks, and special moves.
Last one standing wins
In stock mode, each player has limited lives. In timed mode, the most KOs wins.
Tips & Strategy
- Learn one Legend well before experimenting with others — fundamentals transfer across all characters.
- Edge-guarding (attacking opponents trying to return to the stage) is a key skill to develop.
- Use dodge rolls to avoid attacks and create openings for counterattacks.
- Pick up weapons when they spawn — unarmed attacks are weaker than weapon-based moves.
